The Road Less Traveled

Dubbed the "Girly Picasso," Lauren Jay Wondra is an international visionary and dynamic powerhouse superstar with a devoted global fanbase spanning Tokyo, Australia, Dubai, Hong Kong, Mumbai, Amsterdam, Spain, Sardinia, Paris, Brussels, New York, Washington DC and Texas. She exhibits with the Global Art Agency, Global Bienale and various galleries worldwide.

Her multi-dimensional faces, scenes and silhouettes depict an arresting display of angular movements with a graceful simplicity that creates room for dialogue, interpretation and play.

In 2012, she won the Escapism international art competition gaining her a spot as a member of the Escapism art movement. Based in Shoreditch, Wondra has been noted as a rising star in the contemporary London art scene having received critical acclaim from a number of galleries in London and Paris after her trip to Le Marais, where she showed her book to rave reviews. In addition to 5 shows in Texas and London, she's preparing for Venice Biennial success!

Wondra's multicultural heritage as an "Indio"pre-hispanic Native American Czech Latina traces her roots back to the Old World and New.

Lover of fashion, true crime and unsolved mysteries, Wondra accepted a full academic scholarship to the University of Texas at Austin at age 16, where she cultivated an unlikely passion for both politics and arts, graduating Summa Cum Laude in Sociology (with Honours) and Fashion Design before pursuing a dual international LLM in Mexico and Doctor of Jurisprudence in Houston- earning bar qualifications in Texas, DC, England and Wales. As an advocate for children's rights, she is dedicated to serving others in this lifetime and lends her expertise when she's not painting.
